23 Wheel Horsepower is gain by adding this intake to your Porsche 996 or 997 car. This intake has been tested numerous times on stock cars at the K&N facility gaining these numbers!

Unlike the competition's poor design, this cold air intake has been engineered to product great horsepower gains. Inside the tubes steps have been added to alter the air velocity. In combination with the high flow K&N cone filter and the sealed box from the engine compartment, increase horsepower and torque is gained. Like all K&N products, high quality injection molded tubing, air filter, heatshield, and hardware is included. This intake includes the factory intake snorkel to delivery fresh air in as you are driving. The intake retains the factory MAF sensor and no other modifications are required for fitment. All K&N filters can be recleaned with a K&N cleaner kit for the life of the car!

As well, all K&N products come with complete picture instructions for you the DO IT YOURSELF enthusiast.

In addition to improved power, the K&N intake will give your engine a deeper sound on acceleration. Faster throttle response, and improved mid to high RPM performance is gained. No ECU tuning is necessary to achieve this horsepower gain. Although, we do Softronic ECU tuning which out performs GIAC and is cheaper in price to gain an additional 10 wheel horsepower.

Installation can be done with basic hand tools. Total time for install is about 1 hour.
